Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country outside of Austin, Rio Vista Ranch is home to a unique herd of registered Texas Longhorn cattle.  Our current herd represents a chosen group of 100% Butler Texas Longhorns, most of which were born and raised at Rio Vista.  With pedigrees that include many of the breed’s recognized legends, the Rio Vista herd is the result of a selective breeding program begun in 2000.
